This document will help you create a SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) i.e., a product which you wish to sell through POS or give it away as a freebie along with a membership.

About The Feature

Stock Feature helps you either provide stock (SKU) as a freebie or sell it over the counter.

How can I create the SKU?

  • Login into FitnessForce Software
  • Go to – Others > Stock Master
  • From the dropdown – Select – Create SKU
  • Fill the fields as mentioned below:
    • SKU External ID: This field can be alpha numeric.
    • SKU Name: Name of the stock which you wish to provide
    • SKU Category: Category under which this stock needs to be deducted from
    • SKU Sub Category: Sub-Category under which the stock has to be mapped under and from where it would be deducted or added
    • Short  Name: Can be alpha numeric, but should be of 4 characters only
    • Cost Price / Retail Price and Online Price: These fields need to be filled only if the particular stock would also be sold over the counter i.e., through POS
    • Fill the attribute fields which have been created
  • In Step 2:
    • Provide the minimum and maximum stock which can be maintained in each center and then click on ‘Green Color Plus Sign’
    • Click on Save

    • What does SKU stand for?

  • Do I need Administrative rights for SKU creation?

Ans. Yes. FitnessForce User who has the admin rights can have the access to create the SKU


  • What is a Category?

Ans. Category is a broad categorization of a stock being created.

 Example: Clothing / Accessories / Food / Drinks

 

  • What is a Sub-Category?

Ans. Sub-category is mapped to a category.

 Example: Sub-category for Clothing can be T-Shirt or Shirt, etc.

 Sub-category for Accessories can be Locket or Cap, etc.


  •  What is an attribute and sub-attribute?

Ans. Attribute is a way defining the color, size , brand, quantity, etc. of the stock. Attributes can be commonly used among any of the categories as the attributes are not locked to any specific category or sub-category.

 

Sub-attributes are the values of the attributes created.
