Modes of payment addition in the software

This feature enables the administrator to add new payment type(s) like Paytm, Gpay, RTGS that are other than the pre-configured one’s in the software.The payment mode can be selected while creating invoice(s).

 


  • In order to add the payment type click on Setting which is below the Omnisearch it will show list of settings, click on  Manage Payment 


  • Once you click on Manage Payment it will display the different type of  payment type configured in the software

 

  • On this page we have two options on top: 


  1. Payment Type: this option allows you to search the name of the payment type which is already saved in the software. e.g Debit card, credit card, Paytm.


  1. Status: If you click this option there is a drop down with the values Active and Inactive :

  1. Active : selecting this option means the payment type will be visible during the billing.

  2. Inactive : selecting this option means the payment type will NOT be visible during the billing


  • Once you input the Payment Type and select the status you can click on Submit to get the results for that particular payment type or else click on Cancel to abort the search.


  • Then you have an option to ‘Add new Payment Mode ‘



  • On clicking on ‘Add new Payment Mode’ page will be redirected where you can add new payment type details :


  • Payment Type : this option is used to input the Payment type e.g. Gpay, Paytm, RTGS 

  • Status: Has a drop-down with 2 options . 

    • Active : selecting this option means the payment type will be visible during the billing.

    • Inactive : selecting this option means the payment type will NOT be visible during the billing

  • Abbreviations: a shortened form of a word or phrase. e.g. Gpay abbreviation will be GP .

  • Description: here you can describe about the payment type

  • Show last x digits : this field is used for credit and debit card payment type configuration 

  • Details Compulsory:

  • After how many days do you want to change the status to ‘cleared’?: this is used for cheque payment type.


  • Once you fill the necessary fields for the  Payment Type details you can click on Submit to Save the details or else click on Cancel to abort the process


FAQ’s


1. Can we delete the payment type from software ?

Ans: No, you cannot delete the payment mode. However, you can make the payment type as Inactive
